Why I created Stoneline

About

Working at the Department of Public Works, mowing grass on a cemetery hill, I spoke with my co-worker to pass the time as the day was winding down. He told me he got a job with a landscaping company and was leaving this job soon. I told him, "That's great!" Fast forward 2 months, I see him again coincidentally while I'm working. He joined a huge, well-established company that had roughly 50 employees. We talked about his new job, and his company had LOTS of hardscaping jobs. As a result, his pay was great, and the company never stressed for hours, often putting him on OT because their inflow of jobs was phenomenal. In comparison, a young lady I worked with was in a company 2-3 years ago that was a quarter the size and half the age. Her jobs were always landscaping; the owner worked like a dog but didn't make impressive money. This made me realize that landscapers typically are underpaid and overworked. After extensive market research to see what creates strong brand presence and studying ads and marketing in college. I have formulated a strategy for smaller landscaping companies to punch into the hardscaping industry and see high-ticket results (works for small hardscaping-only companies as well, of course).

What we believe

Four principles we won't compromise on.

01

Quick to act

Modify ads quickly, respond to a qualified lead quicker. Time is money and customers are impatient.

02

Specialist, not generalist

We only serve landscaping. No dentists, no lawyers, no SaaS. That focus is our unfair advantage.

03

Transparent reporting

You see cost per booked call, show rate, and signed contract value every single week. No vanity metrics.

04

Skin in the game

After the initial 30 days. If we don't deliver, you walk. That's the deal.
